Little Notes by Frido ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy.
1. Data Collection and Storage
Little Notes uses Firebase backend services to enable note sharing between connections. The app is designed with privacy in mind:
What We Collect
- Display names: AES-encrypted and stored on Firebase servers
- Connection codes: Used to connect with friends and family
- Notes: Stored temporarily for delivery only
- Device tokens: Used for silent background notifications to sync new notes
- Anonymous user identifiers: Generated automatically, no email or password required
How We Store Data
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Display names are AES-encrypted in the database
- Notes are deleted from the server immediately after delivery
- Connection data is stored to maintain your list of connections
- No message history is retained
Data Retention
- Notes: Deleted immediately after delivery (no retention)
- Display names: Stored while your account is active
